2010 Election Results
Liberal Democrats retain control of Three Rivers
The Three Rivers Liberal Democrat candidates did very well in the face of heavy Conservative pressure.
We held all our seats with comfortable majorities except Carpenders Park ward where Mary Connolly, an excellent ward councillor,
lost her seat to the Conservatives.
Our two new candidates, Chris Ayrton (Langleybury) and Chris Lucas (Maple Cross) were elected.
Labour lost a South Oxhey seat, Northwick, to the Conservatives. This takes the overall numbers in Three Rivers to 30 Liberal Democrats,
14 Conservatives, 3 labour and 1 BNP.
The turnout ranged from 52.7% (Northwick) to 80.6% (Chorleywood West).
Thank you to all those who helped and supported us during the campaign.
